Scott was professional, friendly and very communicative. Most importantly he did a brilliant job of cutting back our huge laurel hedge. Will be sure to use him again, and highly recommend his services.

Amazing work carried out by Scott and his team. Three ash trees felled and one trimmed. All paperwork sorted and work undertaken to a very high standard. And thank you Scott for converting all that wood into usable logs for our burner. Would highly recommend.
MMike ShepherdGoogle review
Scott recently dismantled a large poplar tree for us. He was quick to arrange an initial visit, gave us a great quote and then arranged a suitable time to carry out the work. We are really pleased with his service. He chipped and removed the waste and left the wood piled up neatly as we wanted to keep it. He treated the stump and left our garden in a great condition. We would definitely use him again for any tree work we might have.
DMr DaveyTree services customer
I employed Scott Raney Tree Services in late summer 2012 to cut the hedges around a three acre garden, most were 12 to 15 ft high and quite wide. He cut them very professionally and reduced some in height and width, at my request. He always arrived when he said he would and worked hard whilst on site, he tidied all of the clippings either by chipping or removal. Also, with the aid of a colleague he felled a large dead Sycamore tree, sawed and logged it and removed all debris. I was extremely pleased with his work. 10/10.

It's not every day you have a large tree taken down and Scott Raney gave an excellent professional and friendly service leaving the area very tidy. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone requiring these type of services. First class.

We wanted an overgrown Vibernum removing and a general tidy-up in the garden. We chose Scott because he also offered a mobile log splitting service (we had a pile of logs from a pine tree we had removed in 2007, but these were too large for our wood burner). It seemed that our only options were either to hire an expensive log splitter, or spend hours of toil with an axe; Scott's log splitter did the job in no time! All-in-all we found Scott friendly, reliable and the work most satisfactory.
